The ACTDF also facilitates global partnership arrangements that are beneficial to African communities. One of these arrangements is the Sister City Agreement between the City of Oakland, USA and Bauchi City, Nigeria, initiated by our founder, Engr, Noah Dallaji in 2010.
The final agreement for this arrangement was signed in the city of Oakland by the then governor of Bauchi State, Mallam Isa Yuguda and witnessed by both the Oakland City Mayor Council and the members of the ACTDF.
The purpose of this partnership is to carry out bilateral exchanges and cooperation in a wide range of pursuits and mutual interests. It would create opportunities for commercial trades between Bauchi and Oakland, Cultural exchanges, Educational exchanges, Student exchange programmes, artist exchanges and numerous other activities that would foster the relationship between the two cities.
